"Complete affairs, complete people, complete principles" is one of the demands that Master Cheng Yen makes of all Tzu Chi people in dealing with the world. "People must stand between principles and affairs. If affairs are complete and people are complete, then the principles will be complete."
In dealing with affairs in the world, emotions must be contained in rationality. When dealing with other people, then emotions must be shown above rationality. Your emotions and rationality must match each other, without conflicts or attachments. Then your nature can be purified, you can comprehend the dharma, and reach a level of "complete affairs, complete people and com-plete principles."
