Running the Incense
|
 |
"Running the Incense" refers to the Buddhist custom of reciting a sutra while taking a walk after a meal. However, volunteers at the Tzu Chi Hospital use the same phrase to describe running around the hospital to deliver patient histories. Thus, they treat this task as a meaningful service, which also benefits the cultivation of one's body, mind and spirit.
